Sorry its been a while since I have posted. We have been very busy over this past week, so here is a little recap...
Last Friday, I had a big event at JB hunt and that took up the majority of my day. It is one of our biggest events, so I was glad when it was over. That night we went over to Mitch's parents for steaks. His Grandma was in town from Memphis, so we went over there for dinner.
Saturday, Mitch had to work, and I had a much needed lazy day. I slept in and then went shopping. I have been needing some more work clothes, and I usually have a hard time finding them, but I went on a shopping spree haha! I was able to find some really cute spring clothes! That night we went to Marketplace for dinner and it was delicious as usual!
Sunday we went to church and the went and played golf. Mitch's grandma has been wanting to play with us for while now, so Mitch and I played against Mitch's dad and grandma. It was a lot of fun, but super windy!
And the course was packed, so we went out at 12:30 and did not get done until about 6 that evening. After golf, we went to Gusanos and had pizza. We got home just in time for the storms to hit. We knew it was suppose to get bad, we weren't expecting it to get that bad! We kept watching the weather and their were tornados all around us. There were several times where the the sirens went off, so we had to get in the closet. We were up all night! We thought around 10:30 they were all past, so we both went to sleep, and at about 11:30 the sirens went off again and we were under another tornado warning.. so we stayed up until that one passed too. Needless to say, we both were exhausted the next day!
Monday, we both had to work and when we got home we crashed! ha! We cooked dinner watched the Thunder game and went to sleep! We had another round of bad storms monday night, but they weren't quite as bad as Sundays.
Tuesday, we both had to work again and all day the there was talk about storms! I have never heard anyone talk up storms so much! It was on tv all day and they were saying this was going to be the worst round of storms ever for our area. They even were closing business down early, so people could go and prepare. The Wal-Mart home office never closes for anything, and they closed at 4! It was crazy here! But anyways, when Mitch got home, we went over to the Fabers house for dinner and to hang out since they have a basement. We ended up staying their until about 10:30 that night and we only got bad storms.. it was a little south of us that got all the tornados.
Wednesday, I only had to work a half a day and it was our plan to go play golf, but since we had not got much sleep over the past few nights, I laid down for a second and was out for the afternoon! ha! We woke up just in time to go to buffalo wild wings with Caleb to watch the Thunder game. We came home and watched American Idol and I didn't really care either way who won, but I was really happy that Scotty won!
Thursday, I had the longest day of work ever!! I have to be in the office in the mornings at 6:30 and I usually leave around 5 or 6, but we had a big party at our office, so I did not get off until 10:00 that night! I was exhausted and came home and went straight to bed! Mitch went to see a movie with Caleb that night, and I was about asleep by the time he got home.
Mitch and I both had today off, so we got up, had lunch and went to play golf. We thought for a little bit we were going to get rained out, but it turned out to be a nice day!
This afternoon we washed and cleaned out my car and now we are getting ready to go to dinner at Outback!
Mitch has to work Saturday through Monday, so I am going to go visit my friend Summer in Edmond. I am leaving early in the morning, so the rest of my night will be filled with packing.. fun!
I hope y'all had a good week and have a wonderful weekend!

Tulsa, golf and flowers :)
Hi! I hope everyones week has been going well. We have had a pretty laid back week, not too much has gone on here. Last weekend, we went to Tulsa to spend some time with my family.
We headed out Friday night after Mitch got off work and didn't make it to Tulsa until about 10 that night. We were both tired so we went straight to bed.
Saturday, I spend the day with my mom. I was not able to see her for mothers day, so we had planned to have a girls day. We got up early, had breakfast and went shopping! It was so nice to just spend the day with her. I miss being able to do that all the time! I also got some new work clothes and some clothes for our vacation! That night, we went out with my family to a new mexican restaurant, and it was so good!
Sunday, we celebrated Mitchs birthday. Yes we were a little late, but we had not had time to get back to Tulsa to celebrate with my family. We had my family over and grilled out.
We also got one of our favorite cakes! It was the cake we had at our wedding and it was so good. We actually had lots of leftovers , and we just finished it up last night.
We watched the Thunder game, and then headed back to b'ville. We got back just in time to clean, do laundry and head to bed. Monday, Mitch had the day off, but I had to be at work at 6:30 so I went straight to bed.
I have had a pretty slow week at work, and Mitch has only worked one day this week. Monday I did my workout and we did all resistance bands, and I finally wasn't sore after a workout ha!
Today I only had to work half a day, and then Mitch an I went and played golf!! I thought we were going to get rained out, but it turned out to be the perfect day. It was about 72 and overcast. So it was a littel chilly, but just perfect to be out on the golf course. Mitch has been playing a lot, but I have only been to the range, so it was nice to get out on the course. I was expecting to play horrible since it was my first time out in a while, but I actually played decent. We are going back out tomorrow afternoon, so I am hoping it goes as good as it did today.
Mitch and I always have a lot of fun when we play! He was excited to play, but he got a new Thunder golf shirt for his birthday and he was really excited to wear it ha!
I only have to work until 12 tomorrow, and I am so excited I get the afternoon off.
Tonight, we made dinner and now making brownies! These are only box brownies, but they are my favorite!!
Now I have to brag on my husband.. he came home today and surprised me with flowers! He always does sweet things for me for no reason and he knows how much I love flowers!
They are white roses and are so pretty. I was so surprised and love having fresh flowers in the house!
We are watching American Idol right now... Haley, Scotty and Lauren were my top 3 favorites this whole season and I cant believe they are the ones left ha! I love love love scotty and lauren, but I always find myself liking haley more and more every time I hear her sing, but I think I am still sold on scotty and lauren. I have been voting for them like crazy :)
I hope y'all have a wonderful rest of the week and a great weekend!!

Baseball, friends and vacations!
Happy Friday! I hope y'all had a good week. I worked all week, as usual, and Mitch had a pretty fun week..
Monday...he went to the lake with his dad and Caleb. I love going out on the lake, so I was very jealous I was working. Monday night when I got home, we ate a quick dinner and headed to Springdale for the Naturals baseball game! I love going to these games.. we have been a lot in the past, but we hadn't been to a game this season yet. Every time we tried to go it would rain, so I was really excited! We went with Caleb and Kenna.. it was fun to hang out with some friends our age, and it was the perfect night for a baseball game.
Tuesday, Mitch had to work and I only had to work from 9-12! I have been working a lot of overtime lately, so they gave me Tuesday afternoon off! I was able to go get my hair done, which took most of the afternoon, and then just relax at home. It was so nice.
Wednesday and Thursday, were busy for me at work. I had events both days, so it was a pretty stressful couple of days for me. Mitch on the other hand was off work. He hung out with Caleb and went golfing with Hutch... He did clean and do the laundry for me though :)
Today, Mitch is back at work and I usually don't work Friday's, but since Mitch was working, I went in until noon and then went to the gym. I had another session with my personal trainer. I am already sore. I am still confused how I have been working out consistently my whole life, and these 30 min workouts, that seem easy, are killing me ha! I guess this is just a different type of workout. I am really enjoying it and I love my trainer. She is so sweet, but really tough on me... which is what I need!
I ran some more errands after the gym and of course made a trip by Starbucks. I can't decide if I am happy or sad that happy hour is over on Sunday... ha! When I got home, I made some snacks for our weekend. When Mitch gets home, we are headed to Tulsa! I haven't been home in awhile and I am excited! I had a lot of time this afternoon, so yes, I made a lot of snacks ha! I am a salty person and Mitch loves his sweets... so I made both of our favorite snacks.. and I made cookies the other night and had some dough left over, so I finished those off as well!
Also, on another note, OBU graduation was today... I can not believe it has been a year since we graduated! It seems like yesterday and I miss all my OBU friends! It is crazy how much our lives have changed in one year... and in about a month we will have ben married for a year! Thats even more crazy...
Mitch and I are trying to plan a little trip for our anniversary and can't decide what to do? We are leaning towards St. Louis. We both enjoy going there and there are some good golf courses along the way :) We have also thought about Kansas City or Memphis? Let me know if y'all have any good suggestions of any other fun places!
We have so much coming up here in the next few months... we are going to be super busy, but we have a lot to look forward to...
Over memorial day, I am going to OKC to spend a few days with my good friend Summer! It has been almost a year since I have seen her! In 3 weeks, we are headed to FLORIDA with my family for 7 days! I absolutely can't wait! At the end of June we are going on our anniversary trip and then over Labor day is our cruise with Will and Michelle!! We are both excited about this summer and all the fun things we have planned!
I am going to finish packing and then we are headed to Tulsa!! I hope y'all enjoy your weekend!

Sunshine and races!
So, this weekend has been absolutely beautiful! It has been warm, sunny and finally no rain!! I hope ya'll were able to spend some time outside. Here is a little recap of our week...
I worked all week and Mitch worked all weekend ha! I have been so busy at work and by the time I get home all I want to do is go to sleep ha. I haven't made any new or good dinners lately because I am just too tired when I get home.
I had mentioned earlier, my work bought me a gym membership, so I have started going there after work and I really like it. I had a free session with a personal trainer and I actually really enjoyed it. So Mitch and I decided since they are paying for my membership, I could work with this trainer on a regular basis. I am really excited. I work out with her once a week and then the rest of the week, she plans out my workouts and meals for me and puts them on a clipboard in my box, so every time I go to the gym, I have a check sheet I have to go through. Its so nice to have my workout panned out for me. I am new to this type of workout, so having it planned out for me, makes it easy! I met with her for an hour last week and went over all my goals, etc and so she has planned these workouts just for me. I am kind of nervous because in order to reach my goals I am going to be doing very little cardio and a lot of weight lifting. I have never lifted weights in my life an you could def. tell in my first session ha! I am so use to doing only cardio at the gym... so this will be a change, but I think it will be good for me. And I like having someone that knows what their doing guiding me.
Tuesday night, Mitch did make a delicious dinner! He grilled out steaks and veggies! I love grilling out our own steaks!
I also made a new salad that we had on Easter. Michelle's mom made it and it was so good! I loved it and you can make a big salad and eat on it throughout the week!
You chop up a whole head of iceburg lettuce and cover the bottom of a 9x13 pan and then cover it in sliced green onions and peas. Next spread mayonnaise over it all and sprinkle about 1-2 tbsp of sugar over it. Then cover it with shredded cheese and real bacon bits. It is so good!
Friday, I had an event but got home by 3 and Mitch worked. That evening, I ran in a 5k that benefited Bentonville Public Schools and it was a lot of fun!
It was a big race, over 1,500 people ran.. and for only 5k that was so many people! It took us forever to get started. The first 1/2 mile we were pretty much just walking b/c it was so crowded. I ran with a friend, Sam, and we had a lot of fun!
I love the atmosphere of races! I wish Mitch was able to run it with me.
Saturday, Mitch worked and I spend the day being lazy. I have not had a day/weekend to relax and not do anything in over a month, so I took advantage of it. I slept in, caught up on all my tv shows, and spend most of the day laying out on the back porch. I took a book and just spend all day out there! It was in the 80's, and perfect day to be outside. I also rented Burlesque! I love the soundtrack and have been wanting to see the movie for forever, so I thought while Mitch was working it would be the perfect time! It was good and I recommend it if you haven't see it.
I also watched the Thunder game, and I could not believe the ending... :(
That night after Mitch got home, we went to dinner at Texas Land ad Cattle. We had never been there and so we decided to try it... Mitch got steak and I got a wedge salad that was amazing! We will be going back there more often.
After dinner, Will and Caleb came over to play video games... fun ha! So I watched them play and then I headed to bed.
Today we went to church and then headed to Fayetteville for the day. Will had a bike race at 3:30, but Mitch and I went down about 1:00 to just walk around downtown. We walked all over and actually ran into the doctors I work for. We were able to hang out with them for a little, and then we watched Will race. I got some really good pics, but for some reason the ones I took with my actual camera, and not my phone, won't upload to my computer.
We got home around 6 and decided to go play tennis. We haven't played in forever, but it was fun to get back out there. I never thought I would say this, but it actually made me kind of miss it.
Tonight, we are relaxing and trying to get ready for tis next week of work. We are watching some of the shows we recorded and from last week and right now we are watching the Voice. I am obsessed with this show. If you haven't seen it, you should def. start watching it. Its so good!
Mitch and I both have a pretty relaxing week, so I am excited about that. I hope ya'll have enjoyed your weekend and have a wonderful Monday!

Mitch turns 23!
I hope y'all have had a good weekend! I have been in Dallas for work since Thursday and I am glad to be home. Last month when we went to Denver, we didn't get home until 11 on Sunday night and I had to be at work on Monday morning at 6:30! Fortunately, this trip I had all Sunday at home to relax and catch up on sleep! Here is a little recap on our week...
Well the highlight of our week was that Mitch had a birthday! His birthday was Wednesday and it actually worked out well, because he was scheduled to work, but at 5:45 that morning he got called off! He was so excited! Since I work such long hours, if I don't have anything really important that needs to be done, I get Wednesday afternoons off. So I was able to spend the day with him, which was really nice! For dinner we were having his parents over and so I made Mitch's favorite meal... Chicken Lasagna.
I also surprised Mitch with a Ricks cake! Since my office backs right up to it, I was able to run over and order it earlier in the week, and pick it up Wednesday before I left work.
Thusday, I went to work and then we left for Dallas. We had another conference and it was actually fun! Another 23 year old went with us this time and so we were able to hang out on our downtime(which wasn't much).
Mitch went to Tulsa for the weekend and stayed with some friends from school, Peter and Scott. He was able to have a guys weekend and play lots of golf :)
Today, we have been relaxing and I have been trying to catch up on sleep. Being at these conferences wear me out ha! They never end at night until around 10 and then we have to do dinner and be up and ready early the next morning. So when I get home I usually crash. We slept in this morning, and then just relaxed and watched tv. Mitch got a gift card to Red Lobster for his birthday and since we were both tired and didn't have much to eat in the house since we have both been gone all weekend... we thought it was the perfect time to use it. We both got salad and soup and it is sooo good! We then came home and took a nap.. yes I was very tired :)
Tonight for dinner, we went out with Jenna, Bryan, Richard and Sam.. we went to Bonefish Grill. Mitch and I had never been there for, and it was really good! I highly recommend it! After that you can probably guess what we did... yes we went and got ice cream!
Tonight we are relaxing and watching the Royal Wedding.. and yes I have the best husband for recording it for me and watching it with me :) If I hadn't been in Dallas for work, I would have been up at 4 to watch it! But since it was raining again all day.. it was a good day to stay in and watch it.
I hope y'all had a good weekend and a great Monday!
