Day Five- Dream Vacation!

Today is the last day of Jenna's commenting challenge! I have really enjoyed it and found so many new blogs to follow! Today's topic is to write about your dream vacation. This will be a little hard for me because there are so many places I hope to visit one day!

I don't think I can pick just one- but I did narrow it down to just my top two (or three, however you look at it).

Fiji- I mean who doesnt want to go here? It looks like pure paradise!

Most of you know I am a HUGE beach person! I love hot weather more than anything and when picking a vacation, I would almost always pick the beach! Don't get me wrong- I love going to other places, the beach is just my type of vacation!

Although Fiji looks wonderful, my top place I want to vist is...

Germany and Austria. When I was a junior in college my brother and dad went on a 2 1/2 week trip there and said it was the most beautiful place they have ever seen. They raved on and on about it and their pictures were unreal! I was suppose to go with them and last minute I changed my mind- I had a lot going on at this time and now looking back I regret that decision more than anything!! It looks so amazing and there is so much to see, but it also has the quaint village feel to it. They were able to visit multiple places where The Sound of Music was filmed and the concentration camps. I really hope I get the chance again to go, there is so much history there and I defintely wouldn't pass it up this time :)

Where do y'all wanna visit???

Day four- my hobbies

Still linking up with Jenna's blog for her commenting challenge. Today's post is about my hobbies!

Golf- My husband has always been a golfer and when we got into college, he got me into it. I would take lessons in the summers when I was home from school and ended up really loving it! For the past three years, we have been playing on a very consitent basis and I love that it is something we can do together! It takes up a lot of your day and can get expensive, but it is one of those things we both love and that means we get to spend time together too. So it works out perfect!

Tennis- I started playing tennis when I was 5 and I think my husband has been playing about that long as well. I played all through high school and college, so right now I am still a little burnt out, but I think I am just about to that point where I want to start playing again. It will always be a big part of our lives and we just love the game. It is something we can do forever and hopefully our kids will love it too :)

Cooking- If you have been following my blog or know me at all, cooking is one of my favorite things! I love love love to cook or bake anything and I love to try new recipes. My mom was never the biggest cook, but my dad is, and I think I got it from him. I never saw myself as a good cook but over the past two years, I am making thinkgs from scratch I never thought I would be able to do! It is a big stress reliver for me too- thats not a good thing for my husband ha! If I have had a rough day or just really stressed, he will always come home to a big meal and multiple desserts ha!

Running- I started running when I was in high school and honestly didn't really enjoy. I was on the cross country team because I had to do something to keep me in shape during off season tennis. Well when I got into college I began to love it. With school and tennis practice, I think running was my way out to clear my head. I found lots of friends to run with and that also made it much more enjoyable. My husband also runs, so it was something we always loved doing together at school. We love running races together and can't count how many we have done! I am doing multiple runs this summer- one was last weekend and my next is just here in a few weeks!

Hiking/Outdoors- I know this is kind of broad, but I just love being outside! These past two years of living in AR has made me so much more of an outdoors girl. I love going hiking, bike riding, trail walks, etc! I think because AR has so much of that to offer and I feel like it just has a very outdoorsy feel, its hard to live here and not enjoy it. I will miss some of the pretty trails when we move, but I do love that Tulsa is becoming more like that. Trails are being built, you can now rent bikes on Riverside, and so much more! And we love doing anything that involves cheering on the Hogs!

Only one more... promise...

Traveling- I don't really know if you consider this a hobby, but it is something we LOVE to do.We make it a priority, to go on a vacation a year and it is the best decision we ever made. Especially since we don't have kids yet. I don't know how many people told us to travel a lot before kids, and that was the one thing they regretted the most. It gives us something to look forward to and it is so relaxing to get away and only focus on each other for a week. It's not only refreshing for us, but on our marriage. With how crazy our lives seem to be, it is so worth it. Not once have we ever regreted a vacation.

That's a little about me and what I enjoy doing! I look forward to reading y'alls posts!!

Two-Year Anniversary!

I didn't get around to posting yesterday for our anniversary, but we had a really great day. We knew with everything we had going on it wasn't going to spend exactly like we wanted, but right now we don't have much choice. I feel like every time I turned around, one of our phones were ringing, we were getting emails, or texts. We have both been a little overwhelmed lately and I think that is just going to be how it is until we get everything done and moved to Tulsa! Between all the craziness, we did find some time to take to ourselves and celebrate being married two years!

We got up earl, took Bella to Camp Bow Wow and then headed to played a round of golf.
Bella loves camp bow wow and it is so nice to just drop her off (no appt necessary) when we are going to be gone for long periods of time, and pick her up whenever.

With it being so hot, we can't leave her out in the backyard for more than an hour or so. We were planning on playing golf but not so early... we got a call and the inspector for our house was going to be here in the morning, so we went earlier then we expected, but that turned out to be a good thing because of the heat!! It has been brutal! I am probably the one person on the earth the love this weather, but there are sometimes it really is just too hot.. and not to mention it is dangerous. I feel like every time I turn on the news someone has died from not preparing their self well to be in the heat. Mitch had a patient last week, in his 30's, that came in from heat exhaustion and he died. It's crazy to think how much you do have to prepare yourself to be out in this heat for long periods of time. Okay, that was my rant about the heat :)

But anyways, we started at 9:30 and it was already 93 degrees! By the time we finished it was 105!

We left so early and quick that neither one of us had anything for breakfast so we were about to pass out!! We ran through the drive through at Zaxby's and got some salads. There really isn't much that sounds good after being in the heat for that long. But we did have a great time. We both played horrible, but it was so fun to just be out there. We played a course in fayetteville call Razorback Park and we had heard good things about it, but it really wasn't that nice. We wouldn't go back again, but like I said, we were so excited just to get away from everything for a few hours that at that point we didn't care.

We came home and yes, you guessed it, we did house stuff. I have always known buying/selling a house is a long process, but I never guessed it was like this! When I say we are constantly doing house things, I am not exaggerating one bit. Right now we are in the process of dealing with our realtor and the peoples realtor who bought our house. We are always filling out some type of paperwork and signing something. We are also getting approved for our new loan for our new house and that has been a nightmare. Not because we can't get approved, there is just contract after contract and letter after letter you have to fill out. I think we are finally about done with that (at least just to put an offer in on a house) after that we have to do more on our loan if we were to get the house. We are on the phone with our realtor from Tulsa about 99% of the day. She has been so much help, especially since we have never gone through the process of selling and buying at the same time. Let me tell you, it makes things difficult. We are in the process of filling out paperwork to put a bid in on a foreclosure house and because it is a foreclosure it make it even more difficult. We will know next week if we got the house. I just hate that you have to "bid" and not make an "offer" since it is foreclosed. So instead of dealing one on one with a seller and making counter offers until we like it, we are in a big pool of bids with lots of other peoples bids and then they will decide who's is the best. Ugh... I really don't like that process.

But anyways, we finished up what we had to have signed and emailed it all over to our realtor. By this time it was about 4:00. We did our workout for the day an got ready for dinner. We wanted something close by, we usually go down to Fayetteville, but we were not in the mood.

We ended up on the square at our favorite little seafood place- Flying Fish. It was nothing fancy, but we love it and thats what matters. We would eat there everyday if we could. It has such a fun atmosphere and their food is delicious. If you live in NWA and haven't tried it- its a must! I am sure that will be "our spot" when we come back to visit! We walked around the square when we were finished- it was such a pretty night!

We were planning on going out to the LPGA for the afternoon, but we had to get some of these contracts done, they always take longer than you expect, so we skipped out for the day. We have tickets to get in all week, so we are going to go when they actually start the tournament and not just the pro-am. Even though we love it all and usually spend all week out there! We are planing on going Friday-Sunday and I can't wait. We have 2 extra tickets if anyone want's to join us!

We came home and watched The Help! Mitch surprised me with it and I was so excited. It is my favorite book and ever since I finished it I have been dying to watch it. So we made popcorn and enjoyed a relaxing night! I also got him some small Thunder stuff.

Overall we had the best day and I was just happy to spend it together. Now I am ready to celebrate in Antigua in 64 days!!!

Day two- Why I blog?

I am linking up with Jenna's blog again for the commenting challenge and she asked us to blog about why we blog.

I started blogging a month after I got married to keep up with family and friends. I just got out of college and moved to a new state, so I thought it would be fun to keep people updated on what we have going on in our lives. I am pretty open when I blog. I know I have a handful of friends and family that follow my blog, but I also do it a lot just for me. I love going back and reading about our lives and how much things have changed.

I always think I will remember things, but just since I have started blogging, I go back and read old posts and things come up that I would have need remembered! It is kind of like a online journal, and I am so glad I started this blog.

I have never been big in "putting my blog out there" for others to read, but the more I do it and the more I read about others, I am opening up to the idea.. hint this challenge. This is my first challenge and I am really enjoying it. I often blog about our day and that sometimes can get boring for people to read, I'm sure. So I like that we get topics and I have found so many fun blogs to follow! I have just recently started linking up with other blogs for special topic days and I am really starting to find I enjoy it!

I have really enjoyed this challenge and look forward to seeing what fun stuff y'all have to blog about!

Day one- About me!

I am linking up with Jenna's commenting challenge. I just love that she is giving topics for us to write about and today's is all about me! So here is a little about me...

I was born and raised an Oklahoma girl and moved to NW Arkansas 2 years ago. I met my husband in college at Oklahoma Baptist University. We graduate in May and married in June (actually our 2 year anniversary is tomorrow)!!

I work as an admin. specialist in the college of education at the University of Arkansas and love my job! My husband is an ICU/CCU nurse at Washington Regional Hospital. We just recently decided to move back to OK, we will be living in Tulsa by the end of next month- so these past few weeks have been crazy stressful!

He got a job offer as a Trauma ICU nurse at St. Francis that was too good to pass up and I am going to work on getting my teachers certificate. All of this was very sudden and we decided about a month ago we were going to go through with it all. We put our house on the market and it sold in 7 days!! We are so blessed and are constantly reminded God has a great plan for us in Tulsa.

My husband also is working on going back to school to become a nurse anesthetist. He takes his GRE next month and start applying in August! It is such a stressful process. So we will most likely be in Tulsa another year to year and a half. We are in the process of buying a house in Jenks and I am so ready to have a place to move into and make it our "home".

I love to do anything outside- tennis, golf, hiking, laying by the pool, you name it! I also love to travel. My husband and I like to go on mini trips throughout the year, but we always take one bigger trip and this year we are going to Antigua! I am so ready! I am also a big Razorback fan. We love going to football games and spending time in Fayetteville at the Arkansas events. Go Hogs! I have a passion for cooking. I would be in the kitchen all day if I could. I tried to start a cooking blog about two years ago, but got way to busy. I am hoping to start one up again. I love sharing receipts and getting new ones to try!

I am also the mom to the sweetest dog ever! Meet my GoldenDoodle, Bella! She just turned one year old and I couldn't ask for a better dog. She is super calm and she thinks everyone is her best friend!

That's a little about me! I am looking forward to finding lots of new blogs to read!!

Color Run and House Hunting

Well this weekend may have been the busiest weekend we have had in a long time! I feel like busy is a very common word in our hosehold these past few weeks! I can't even think striaght we have so much going on.

But this weekend was super fun! We did a lot and made progress on our house situation, so that was good. We were in Tulsa from Friday-Sunday night and it felt like we were there 5 days! It was the longest weekend, but I guess that was good sionce we had so much to get done.

We got there Friday evening and met up with Will and Michelle to go get our Color Run packets. We got back to my parents house and they had cooked a huge pasta dinner for all of us and my mom even surprised us with a good luck color run cookie cake. It was so cute.. and delicious!

Saturday we had to get up super early for the run. We were up getting ready at 5:45 and left the house by 6:30 to make it in time to find a place to park and get ready for the race. We met up with Peter and Libby and also my good friend, Lindsey, from here in Fayetteville came with us! I don't think we had any idea what we were really about to get into!

It was required that you wear a white t-shirt and they provided you with a headbamd and a color run tatoo! Michelle, Lindsey and I all got matching socks too! It was by far the coolest race I have ever been in! I can't really descride how much fun we had or what it was like... but here are some pictures of us after the race!

It was a blast! I highly recommend tou to find one close to your area! They are so worth it! Michelle and I found one in Memphis in October and we are dying to go! It took a couple of showers for us to get all the color off ha! I was able to get most of it off my face and arms, but I could not get it off my back (yes I have no idea how it got on my back). I also still cannot get it out of my hair! I got most out, but for some reason there is a neon pink strip down the right side of the front of my hair and looks so funny. I have got the question " did you put a pink stripe in your hair this weekend about 6 times this morning at work!

Saturday, after the race we went to Los Cabos to eat lunch and then we started the house hunting process for the rest off the day. We looked at so many houses and made so much progress, so hopefully we will know something soon! I am sure the realtors took us four seriously when Will looked like he had pink paint splattered all over his face, Mitch had paint all over his forhead and arms, Michelle had it on her arms and legs and I had pink hair! Ha! We definitly got a lot of questions!

House Hunting!

Saturday night my parents cooked out burgers for all of us and Katie and Tommy came over for the night too! It was so good to visit with them, and it made me so excited to get back and know that we can do that stuff all the time! My parents are putting in a pool and it was suppose to be done by this weekend, but they were running behind. They were so close to being done, they actually were filling it up with the fire hose saturday afternoon. They still have lots of little things to do to the pool and landscaping, getting furniture and then they are still working on their outdoor fireplace. But it was fun to sit atound the pool all night and visit with them!

Sunday, we slept in, getting up for work all week and then up that early for the race took it out of us! We had such a busy day Saturday and it was nice to relax a little. We had breakfast and Will and Michelle left around 12 and we started looking at houses again at that time. We had several more appts and we didn't make it back to bentonville until about 10pm last night.

This week, I am not working much becasue of everything going on. I came in today around 10:30 because I had to get Bella from the kennal and get to leave at 3 so it has been a nice short day! Tomorrow is our 2 year anniversary, so I decided to take off and we are playing golf at this nice course down in Fayetteville and then spending some time out at the LPGA! We just love going to it and have been the past 4 years! So I am extreamly excited. We had planned on taking a little get-a-way trip to either Branson or Hot Springs to golf, but with everything going on, even if we did have the time to do that, we dont want to ha! We are so exhausted all the time and this seems like all we do is travel, so this is the perfect way for us to spend our anniversary! If we aren't at work, we are packing up our house (such a long process), on the phone with realtors, or reading and signing document after document for selling our hosue and making offers on others. It is so stressful. It will be nice to take a day to golf, watch golf and enjoy a nice simple dinner and forget about all that stuff for just a few hours. I am also taking off Wednesday.. we just have so much going on that I could really use the extra day. So it is going to be a very short week for me then next week we are off to camp all week! I am so pumped!!!

That's our weekend in a nutshell. Even though this is a stressful time, we are so excited for these next couple of weeks: packing, camp, and hoping to hear back on a house. We found a great house we love that is a foreclosure home and so we put a bid on it and we will know in one week if we got it. Since it is a forclosure we had to put a "bid" instead an offer and there are lots other bids, so it is a long shot, but we have to start somewhere- we are running out of time ha! If we were to get this house it is a heck of a deal, there is not much it needs redone except carpet and paint, which I am excited about. I love picking out paint colors and it makes your house your own! So we are waiting to hear back from the bank. We are not stressing about finding something, we know the right house will come available when the timing is right. So we are just excited about everything!!

Have a great week!

It's Friday!

Happy Friday!!

This has been one of the most stressful weeks ever, and I am so glad it's Friday!! I have been very fortunate to not work much this week. It has been slow and so I have been working half days. It has helped me out so much since we are now trying to pack everything up.

I could not be more excited about this weekend! We are going to Tulsa and Will and Michelle are going to meet us there and spend the weekend with us.We are all running The Color Run Saturday morning and I am so pumped!! I have been wanting to do one of these for over a year and it finally came to Tulsa! We were plannning on traveling to KC becasue that was the closest one and then literally the next day I got an email it was coming to Tulsa!! I registered that night and have been counting down the days. If you have never heard of it- check it out here!

Since we sold our house, we are also going to be looking at our top three houses this weekend! It makes it so much easier since it sold. It has opened up our options tremendously! We can actually look at buying and not have to worry. I am now super exited to begin the house search, It all feels very real now! And I am excited to have my mom and Michelle with me. My mom knows me and what I want better than anyone and Michelle and I have the EXACT same taste! It's always so much easier when you have help in a process like this.

Last night we started the packing process and watched the thunder (bummer) and I am going to admit it was depressing. I think now I am to the point where tis all so real and with our house starting to look bare, I want to find a new house so bad to make feel like "home" again!

Also, as you can already tell my blog is finally updated! It was much needeed! I am still working on some small details, but for the most part it is finished!

Have a good weekend! Hopefully we will make some progress on a house!

Makeover

My blog is getting a "makeover"- sorry if it looks weird for the next few days!

Be back soon!

Blessings

Well.. I have some great news to share. After only being on the market for 7 days, our house offically sold today!

We are both so exited/nervous/overwhelemed.. and the list goes on. We were not expecting this to happen so soon, but couldn't be happier. This process was so scary to begin with and it just goes to show how much God has been in control of our situation. Now we are in the process of trying to purchase a house in Tulsa. It's always one thing after another.

Monday afternoon when Mitch got his job offer, we also heard from the relator and they said they showed our house that afternoon and the people loved our house, but it is between ours and one other house. So we were to just wait and see what they decide. Well yesterday morning, we recieved news the chose ours and were putting in an offer. From the time I got home from work until about 10:00pm we were working out the details. This is our first time to be homeowners, so all of this selling stuff is so new to us. We were on the phone with each of our parents and grandparents asking advice ha!

We are super thankful we have that solid support system and they all helped us so much last night. I am glad we are getting all this experience at our age. It has been such a learning process just being homeowners, but the selling and buying process is crazy! I have been through some stressful times in my life- nothing even comes close to this. I remember when I was finishing up school, graduating, completely remodeling a house in a different state and planning a wedding all at the same time... I didn't think it could get any mroe stressful than that. Well this trumps that by far!

Our relator was busy yesterday afternoon, so we recieved the offer via email around 6:00pm yesterday and we had to wait until 9:30pm for our relator to call us and give us more details. We weren't completely against their offer, but it wasn't the best. So we counter offered- the only thing we weren't happy about was they wanted us to pay all of their closing costs on their house they were moving out of AND on top of that want us completely moved out in less than 30 days!!!

So we countered back and they actually came back with a better offer for us. I have been stressed all day with wonderding what they would come back with and when I heard I was confused for a second becasue it sounded too good to be true, but after talking to Mitch, he reassured me thats what they were doing. We could not beleive it. Not only did we sell our house in a week, but we got what we wanted from it.

Now comes the crazy part- they are giving us what we want, but we do have to be completely moved out by July 12!!! That's so soon and we are going to be gone one of those full weeks. So thaty pretty much gives us about 2 1/2 weeks. We are just a little stressed about that, but we figured it is well worth it for what we are getting for our house. So since Mitch's last day of work isn't until July 21 we are going to have to find someone to crash with for a week :)

I was dreading the selling process so much, and I can't explain how thankful I am we only went through it for about a week. And not to mention trying to keep our house beyond spotless was getting really old!

So we are packing up lots of stuff this weekend and taking more to Tulsa and starting a storage unit. We now how to find somewhere in Tulsa and luckily I found 3 houses we love this past weekend, so hoepfully we will go see them again and I can show Mitch. He has only seen pictures- but we are so excited to keep this process moving.

Also, an update on my my mom.. She got to come home last night. They still are not for sure what happened, but whatever it was it is not there anymore. We are so thankful and she will most likely still have to go back in every once and a while and make sure they don't find anything again, but for now she is good!!! Thank you so much for all the prayers, for her and for our situation... they are definitly getting answered!

We will also accept all the help we can get in packing and moving ha! Just throwing that out there :)

Have a great day!

More updates...

Happy Tuesday! I hope y'all had a good weekend! We had a very eventful weekend- both good and bad.

Thursday, after I got off work Mitch surprised me and took me on a date. We have been SO busy lately with everything going on, so it was so nice for us to get away for just a little and enjoy each others company. We went to Red Lobster and it was so good. They have the BEST lobster bisque soup!!

They also had this special going on where you get soup, salad, entree and dessert for $14 and for RL that is a ton of food!! So Mitch and I both got the chicken and shrimp in garlic sauce and it was by far the best thing I have had there. I usually aways just get shrimp, but this was so good! I was able to make 2 meals out of it and take it to work the next day for lunch.

 And for dessert...

Mitch got warm chocolate cake and ice cream and I got...

Apple pie... well it wasn't techincally called apple pie it was some warm apple something with caramel drizzel, but it tasted like a mini apple pie and it was delicious! We came home after dinner and watched the Thunder game!

Friday Mitch was off and I only had to work a half day- so when I got off I took a nap and we went to Tropical Smoothie because they were giving away free smoothies. Yum! After we got our smoothies, we took bella to the dog park and there were two other goldens there and she love playing with them. I think they reminded her of her cousins, Peanut and Allie :)

Saturday Mitch had to work, and I didn't do much but clean the house. I have never know the pressure of keeping your house spotless at all times in case someone comes to look at it. It is constantly draining! I feel like all we do is clean and make sure anytime before we leave- even if it is just for an hour or so we have to have the house it perfect shape.

I also made my first homemade chocolate sheet cake and it was to die for!! My bosses wife made one for a coworker's birthday a few weeks ago and it was so good. I just had to try and make it. So I got the pioneer womans recipe and made it saturday! It was actually easier than I thought and everyone loved it!! If you ever needa good dessert to take to a party (becasue it fesds a ton) try this- I promise everyone will be talking about it!!

Saturday morning, I got a call from my mom and she was put in the hospital on Friday. Long story short, she was having severe stomach pains and they found something on the lining of her intestines right where it meets her stomach. They said they couldn't do the procedure until Monday morning- so for 2 days we had to sit and wait. It was the longest two days.. it could have been so many things and we all just wanted to know. Well come Monday, they did the procedure and didnt find anything. I didn't know if this was good or bad. She was starting to feel a little better, but now they are just continuing to run more tests to try and figure out whats going on. So please be in prayer for her and hoepfully we will know something soon.

On another note, Monday Mitch had three interviews at St. Francis starting at 10:00am and going until about 1:30 that afternoon. So while he was in those, my mom and I had scheduled to look at 8 houses with our relator. Well since everything happened with her she wasn't able to go with me. I was planning on just canceling them, but with our timeline being so short, she thought I should go ahead and go. Thankfully, one of my best friends Tayler came along with me. I have never been in the situation to have to make a decision on a house so quick and looking at 8 was so overwhelming. I honeslty would not have been able to do it by myself. There was so much to write down, take pics of and just remember in general. I am so glad she was able to come along, she made the process very easy on me!

Then comes the exciting news.... Mitch was called within 30 min of his interview and was offered 2 of the 3 positions he interviewed for and was able to pick the one he wanted!!! It was such a blessing to get offered 2 anf have his choice. When he interviewed in PA for CRNA school, they told him 2 years ICU was required for any school, but it really makes you stand out if you have cardic or trauma experiance. And well, Mitch is now the new Trauma ICU nurse! He is so excited and he starts July 23!!! So we are in "rush" mode to sell our hosue and find on in Jenks!

Even though we initially were moving to Tulsa for me, this is going to be such a better job for him to help him get into CRNA school! Now I have to find a job :)

Our house has been on the market one week as of tomorrow and we have had multiple showings and we got some good feeback yesterday. One couple that looked at our house really liked it and it is between ours and one other and they should decide and make an offer today or tomorrow! We are just so blessed to even have people looking at it, but an offer would be nice too :) I can't imagine it happening that fast, but we will see.

We feel like we are about to go crazy! I have never in my life had this much going on at one time. I just keep reminding myself  God's timing is perfect. So as of this morning- Mitch and I both put in our resignation. He has to give 4 weeks, so his last day is July 20th and mine is July 13 and the first week of July I have vacation for the whole week, so I really only have two and a half weeks left :(

Thats our big update! I will continue to post as we make more progress! This weekend is the color run and Will and Michelle are coming to Tulsa for the weekend!! I have been looking forward to this race for SO long! I can't wait!!

Have a good week from Bella and I :)

Current food/drink
My drink of choice is always sweet tea!! And current food is watermelon... yum!! There is nothing better in summertime than a big juicy watermelon. I eat it like it is going out of style!

Current Favorite Show(s)
I could go on and on about TV shows I love, but right now there is nothing I want to watch more than the THUNDER play! It is about the only thing ever on in our house right now!

Current Needs
I need to learn not to worry! I am the biggest worrier and that is something I have really been working on. I know God is in complete control, and I just need to learn to give everything over to Him and trust.
Current banes of my existence
Not knowing what our plans are for the next month!!

Current Celebrity Crush
I have always been obsessed with Reese Witherspoon! Love everything about her!

Current Blessing
My wonderful husband! I know that sounds cliche, but he always does so much for us!!

Cuurent Indulgence
Last night we went up to the square, and a local bakery was passing out free lemon (my fav) cupcakes... and they were delicious!!

Current Outfit
I started this at work and am finishing it up tonight, but today I am wore heather gray slacks, a fitted light purple shirt, and of course lots of jewelry! Now I am in my pj's :)

Current Excitement
We have so many exciting things going on but today we had someone call on our house and come look at it after only 1 day of being on the market, Mitch has 3 interviews in Tulsa on Monday, and just our big move in general!!!

Current Mood
Anxious! We have so much going on and it is all happening so fast!

Current verse/quote
I have two that come to mind a lot lately...
"Grace is God's power coming into your situation to do what you can't do for yourself, but you must choose to receive his gift of grace". -Joyce Meyer
"God has a plan and a timing. We need to learn to get happy with that. We can't let our circumstances control us".-Joyce Meyer
I love listening to Joyce Meyer and with everything I have going on, I find myself needing to slow down and remember these.

Current Wishlist Item

I came across this tho other day and hope to make it my next purchase. I love the Thunder!

Current Favorite Product
I use this Coconut Milk by Organics on my hair after I am done curling it. I brush out my tight curls to makes big waves and then put a little of this in my hands and work my fingers all through my hair! It calms it down from being so poofy and makes my waves look so silky without leaving my hair all greasy! I love this stuff!

Hope y'all have a wonderful Friday!!
