It's Friday!

Happy Friday! I hope y'all have had a good week. Something about this week made it fly by for me, which I am not complaining about! Mitch worked almost every day this week, or had classes. So we have been pretty busy.

This week we did two more Crossfit training classes and our last one is Sunday! So we can officially start this Monday! I am so excited to get into it.. Everyone we have talked to says it is the best thing and we will become addicted. I am so excited!

Mitch is also playing on a tennis league, and his first match was last night in Fayetteville and he won!
I wanted to go watch but, I got off work at 4:45 and had to get home to Bella. I didn't want to drive all the way back down to Fayetteville, especially with Bikes, Blues and BBQ going on.

Not only Fayetteville, but all of nwa is taken over by bikers.. and I am not exaggerating! It is worse it Fayetteville, and it takes you forever to get anywhere. It is the 3rd largest bike rally in the nation and you can tell! I know it is a great thing for the city and it brigs a lot of money to nwa, but I cannot even leave my office during the day because it takes me twice as long to get places! When it is nice outside like this, we usually keep our doors open to our office, but we couldn't this week because all we heard is motorcycles!!! My office is right off college close to the downtown/dickson area and it is super busy!
Yesterday I left work at 4:45 and got home around 6:20.. enough said!

Today Mitch had a class from 10-11:30, so I went with him to Fayetteville and worked out ad made a litle trip to target :) I love love love target and could easily get in trouble there! I bought some new workout clothes and some fun halloween stuff for my office! I am hoping to make it to Hobby Lobby this weekend.. I am in the mood for fall crafts! Then we enjoyed lunch at Pinnacle.

A little off the subject, but I thought I would share with you...I work right next to Ozark Natural Foods, and they have their Concord grapes out!!! They are all natural, organic grapes and taste exactly like drinking a glass of welchs grape juice! If you have a local natural foods store, or maybe even a farmers market, go get some!! They are a little pricy, but so good!!

We have been up at the church all afternoon helping with d-now! Last year Mitch had to work, but I was able to help out and this year we are both able to! Its such a fun weekend! One of the things we helped with tonight was the amazing race.... pretty much like a big scavenger hunt around Bentonville.
Our first station was behind the church and they had to do a minute to win it game.

Our next station was at Harps in the canned food isle by the green beans ha! We had to pass out clues. We also got a lot of interesting looks from shoppers.

It was such a fun night!!

Well tomorrow is Saturday, so you know what that mean.... yes, football! OSU doesn't play tomorrow.. I am sad I don't get to cheer on my cowboys. But on another hand, we are hoping to a win from the razorbacks! It will be a tough game, but hopefully we can pull it out!
Last week we too Bella to the groomer on Saturday and she had all her OSU stuff on, so the groomer put orange bows in her hair :)

I couldn't get her to be still long enough to get a good picture, but you can kind of see them. They were really cute!

I will leave you with a few pictures of Bella. She is getting so big, she is now 32 lbs!

This is what Bella does every day around 6:00. She does it constantly until Mitch gets home :)

I hope y'all have a good weekend!

Saturdays=football!!

Well I don't know about y'all, but around this household, saturdays are dedicated to football!! We have football on from when we get up to when we go to bed!
The OSU game and the Arkansas game are both on at 2:30.  So we will be trying to watch both at the same time :(

This morning, we got up and went and got Bella her medicine. Ever since her little trip to the vet yesterday, she hasn't been feeling well. After that we went to the farmers market. There is hardly ever a saturday when we miss the farmers market. I love walking around looking at all the neat crafts and getting fresh fruits and veggies. But I think our favorite part is, the crepes!!! There is this guy who brings like a mobile trailer and makes all kinds of crepes and they are delicious! Mitch and I both get the bananas foster crepe.

I usually don't like sweet stuff, but this is amazing. The line is always forever long and they take about 15 minutes after you order to get it. So, we are usually in line for them for about 30 minutes and the have to wait ha but they are so worth it!!! If you ever are at the Bentonville farmers market, wait in the long line and get one!! They are worth it!

We are getting ready to take Bella to the groomer and then watch football! I wish I had a good picture of Bella, but she is decked out in her OSU stuff thanks to Natalie!!

Go Pokes!!!

And... Go Razorbacks! Wooo Pig Soooie!

Hope y'all have a wonderful saturday and enjoy this beautiful weather!!!

Happy 1st day of fall

Well this morning at 4:05am we said goodbye to summer and welcomed fall!! I love this season.
We get to keep our air off and windows open for the next couple months!

I thought this picture was so pretty and just makes me so excited for all the trees changing! There are so many big beautiful trees here, so this time of year is so pretty!

I have had an interesting day today. I was planning on relaxing at home and playing with Bella...but thats not quite what happened..

I had today off, well kinda. My boss is at a conference, and text me this morning telling me he needed some stuff done for him and emailed today so he could use them at his seminar. So this morning I got the message, but it didn't say what exactly he wanted. So I got up and headed to Fayetteville. I have a lot to do at work, but nothing immediate. I usually take Fridays off, unless there is just something I have to get done that day. So I got there and was still waiting on his instructions on what to do. I waited, went to the gym, took Mitch lunch and still nothing. So I finally left and I got almost home and yes, he calls. I was so frustrated. And then come to find out, I could have done all of his work from home. There was no need to go into Fayetteville today!

So I got home, hoping my day would turn around, and took Bella on a walk... and ended up at the vet. ha I will spare you details on why we went, but she was having some issues going to the bathroom. When I called they said it could either be two things and one was really serious and one wasn't that big of a deal. So to make sure they had me bring her in immediately. She had to get shaved on her bottom, and so she isn't too happy right now. Ha

After all those unexpected errands, we are finally home. Mitch was suppose to be off, but got called in today. Bella and I are headed to the dog bark here in a little bit and hopefully try and keep her busy until Mitch gets home.

On another note... Happy 1st Day of Fall!! We have had great fall weather the past week or so, but today it's official! Tomorrow we are just hanging around the house and watching football. OkState plays A&M and Ark plays Alabama!! Two big games and I am looking forward to a day full of football, food and friends!!

Hope y'all are enjoying this wonderful weather as much as we are! Have a wonderful weekend!

It's Wednesday!!

There are two reasons I like Wednesdays...
1. I only have to work half days on wednesdays, and tomorrow is my friday :)
2. MODERN FAMILY
I am so excited modern family is back on! Mitch and I look forward to watching it every week and the episodes tonight are hilarious!

Today we started our Crossfit class!! Ever since we did a workout in Texas with Michelle, we have been dying to start. We have to go through 4 training classes and workouts before we can get in a class. Today we were there an hour an we went through different techniques and then did a workout. It only took me 9 minutes to do the workout, but I was dead ha! I am already sore, I can't imagine what I am going to feel like tomorrow!

I have an event all day tomorrow, and Mitch has to work. Then we are both off all weekend! It hardly ever happens where we are both off all weekend. We are planning on relaxing at home, watching the Arkansas game, and playing some golf! The weather has been amazing and I am so excited to spend some time outside.

This is one of our only weekend in the next couple months we have free. I found out last week I will be traveling these next few months more than usual. I will be going to Texas and California and possibly Florida. I like getting free trips to these places, but I don't like being gone that much. I think Mitch is going to go to the Dallas one with me :)

Well thats about all thats going on here... I hope y'all have a wonderful rest of the week!

Fall favorites!

We only have a few more days until the official start of fall, but everything around here already says fall! I am loving this weather, it is so nice not to be in the 100's. Here are some of my favorite fall things!

The weather is awesome in the fall. I do not like cold weather, but I do love cooler weather! I love the changing from summer to fall, and all the leaves!!! Our town is so pretty when all the leaves start changing :) I told Mitch when we pick where he goes to school, we need to stay south :)  We have a nice long fall season and I could not take living up north, because the fall weather does not last long. It gets cold so quick!

This week Mitch made a big pot of chili... he makes the best homemade chili! It is his dad's recipe and is so good! My favorite fall food is homemade stew. I could eat it everyday!

We have a large bowl of candy corn, or I guess I should say we HAD large bowl ha! We can never keep enough of them in our house, they somehow seem to disappear very quickly.

We also got a gallon of apple cider at wal-mart the other day and we have been enjoying it! I love love love apple cider!! My favorite is Starbucks carmel apple spice. They are so good in the cool weather.

Another fall favorite is all the fall candles! I have an obsession with candles. Mitch always talks about how we candles everywhere and they are always lit ha! I love the way the smell up our house. My favorite our Bath and Body Works fall scents. I went today and stocked up on candles and soaps!

Another thing about fall is halloween! I really like halloween and I love going to the pumpkin patch. Mitch and I go every year and carve pumpkins! They are so many fun activities to do in the fall :)

And possibly my favorite thing about fall is... football!! I love football and I love going to games. It is one of my favorite things to do. I grew up going to OSU games and they are so much fun. Since I have been living in AR I have become a Razorback fan and really enjoy going to their games as well. I love living in NW Arkansas during football season. Razorback football is such a big thing here and its really hard not to be a fan living here! Mitch and are are going to the Arkansas vs. South Carolina game this year and hopefully some more too! It should be a really good game!!

On the subject of the hogs... my sister-in-law and I came across this lady who hand paints Toms shoes and look what we are getting...

Are they not the cutest?? I already have red Toms, so I am just mailing them her and she is going to paint this design for me! She has so many different cute designs, but this was the one I liked the best!! I cannot wait to get them! She will paint any design you want, so I may have to break down and get some OSU ones :) I love the Razorbacks, but I will always be a Cowboys fan!!!

This weekend, Summer was in town visiting and it has been rainy and cold all weekend, so besides our little shopping trip, we have just stayed inside and relaxed! Tonight consists of food and football ha! Wooo Pig Soooie!!!

I hope y'all have a wonderful weekend!

Soaking up the Sun!

Well our vacation has come to an end :( We got back Monday evening and ever since then I have been trying to get use to the "real world" again. Its so depressing going back to work after being off for 12 day! We literally had to soak up the sun because we were welcomed home wth temperatures in the 60's! I usually don't want summer to end, but I am ready for fall. After living in arkansas last fall, I am in love with it! It is so pretty and I love watching all the trees change!

But anyways... we had a wonderful time and here is our trip in a nutshell. There is no way I could blog about the whole thing...

We boarded the boat sunday, and we were suppose to leave that afternoon, but got delayed because of the storm. So we didn't end up leaving until around 6:30 that evening. We spent the fist two days at sea, and it was so nice to relax. This picture pretty much sums up how we spent our days at sea...

And yes, we have the same swim suit on..ha we both came out wearing it one day! That wasn't the only thing we had the same on the trip either ha... we have come to find out over the past year that we are so alike in so many ways its scary ha!

Wednesday was our first stop and it was Jamaica!!!! We all love Jamaica... I mean we must since it was our second time back! I have such a heart for Jamaica and love it so much. There is something about the atmosphere and people that you cant understand unless you've been there. Its awesome!
We went horseback riding while we were there and it was so fun!!

Not only did we get to go on a long trail ride but...

We also got to ride through the ocean!! It was one of the coolest things I have ever done!

Thursday, we arrived at Grand Cayman!!! None of us had ever been there and, lets just say we all want to go back! I love Jamaica, but this island was so different, and so clean! It had such a different atmosphere of Jamaica. The water was the prettiest water I have ever seen!! I am not exaggerating one bit- it was the bluest water I have ever seen.

The pictures do not do justice. It looked like something off a postcard that wasn't even real. We went snorkeling and I am so glad we chose grand cayman to snorkel at!! Our tour guide said there water is so clear because they are one of the only places that has no outside water from river, streams, etc coming in. You cold literally stand on the boat and see the bottom of the ocean. I think we talked about how clear and blue the water was for days ha!

We first snorkeled a sunken ship..which was really neat.. and then we got to snorkel the great barrier reef and it was by far my favorite part of our trip! It was so neat to be under the water with so much colorful coral and fish all around you!!

The disposable underwater camera doesn't quite capture the picture that great,  but it was beautiful! If there was one thing I recommend, it is to snorkel in grand cayman.. so worth it!!!

The last port was Mexico. We did a deluxe beach resort where they took us to a beach with water sports and all the food and drinks you want! It was nice to relax and just lay out! We got in the water some, the boys more than us, but it wasn't very clean in mexico. It was really pretty and blue far out, but up on the shore it was dirty!

Then we spend two more days at sea! I loved be at sea and I love the fancy dinners at night!

Jamaica has the most gorgeous sunsets!!
Everything was so fun and I cant wait for our next trip!!! These are just a few pics.. between the four of us we had 6 cameras and 3 of those were digital, so we took tons of pics ha!! I will post the rest of the pictures on facebook shortly!!!

Have a wonderful week!!

Bon Voyage!

Happy Saturday!! Our cruise is finally here.. we leave tomorrow morning at 7:00 for Galveston and then we our off.. first stop Jamaica!!!

We have had a fun, but busy couple of days while in Dallas. Friday night we went to eat at one of Will and Michelle's favorite mexican restaurant, Chilosos. It was so good!! After dinner, we came home and took the dogs for a walk. It made me miss Bella :(

This morning, we got up and went to workout at Crossfit. Michelle has been doing it for several months now and they did a workout to honor the 31 soldiers, plus Michelle's cousin Jordan who was killed a few weeks ago in Afghanistan. It was a 32 minute workout honoring the 32 soldiers and was so much fun! They recently got one back home in Bentonville, and Mitch and I have been debating if we wanted to do it. We have been wanting to try it out but are also so busy, so this was the perfect time. We absolutely loved it... hardest, most intense workout of my life, but so much fun! I loved the type of workouts you do and it never gets boring. I am so excited to start when we get home!!!

After our workout we grabbed lunch and them Michelle and I headed to the nail salon! We got manis and pedis, which was awesome! It was one of the best nail experiences ever! We did the hot stone massage on our legs and it was amazing. I could definitely get use to that :)
Then we did what we do best- SHOP!

We met Elizabeth at the mall and had a full afternoon of shopping! It was so much fun to spend the afternoon with the girls. Here are some of the things I bought..

This is a bathing suit cover up that was on sale and Michelle and I both got one...

I have been eyeing these workout pants for about a month now and they finally went on sale! I got them for $15 at Victoria Secret.

And last but not least, these earrings. I have been wanting some hoop earrings with rhinestones around them for forever and I finally found some the right size!

The good thing about going on a vacation at then end of summer, is everything is on sale! But the bad thing is the weather. We have been watching Tropical Storm Lee like crazy. Fortunately, it went the opposite was for us. But we did get delayed a little.. our ship is at sea right now and they are going to be getting in later than expected due to the storm, so we are leaving about 2 hours later now. If thats all that happens, especially since we are going in the peak of hurricane season, I am fine with that :)

Tonight the boys cooked out steaks and Michelle and I have been getting last minute stuff done. I am in the process of making my favorite snack.. chex mix!!

I literally think I could eat this whole pan by myself!! Mitch made his puppy chow earlier..ha!

Well I hope y'all have a wonderful week.. we are going to Jamaica Wednesday, Grand Cayman on Thursday and Cozumel on Friday.. and getting back home Monday. Between Michelle and I, I am sure we will have plenty of pics to share when we get back!

Quick update

Well it's finally here!! I am so exited I can barley take it! We are in Dallas and head to Galveston Sunday morning to board the ship! Yay!

This past week we have been so busy! We have been trying to pack and get everything ready for our trip! It has been crazy! Here is a little re-cap...

Last weekend we made a quick trip to Tulsa to celebrate my grandmas birthday. We also were able to hang out with Katie and Tommy and see their new place!

Monday night Bella had her big test and of course passed with flying colors! She has now graduated puppy class and we are moving her into the next level. At the end I took a picture of her with a graduation cap on with her trainer, but it didn't turn out too well.

The rest of the week consisted of  me trying to contain my excitement and try to focus on work ha! All I was able to think about was packing and getting stuff for our trip.

Last night, we went out to dinner for our friend Jenna's birthday! It was a lot of fun and it was so nice to all hang out again. It had been too long!

We have a fun couple of days planned while we are in dallas, so I will do a quick post before we head to Galveston!

Hope everyone has a safe and fun Labor Day weekend!!
