New furniture, trips and Valentines!

Hi y'all! I know... I have a trend of starting every blog out with the promise of getting better at blogging. But I am trying. We just have a lot going on lately and that's good because now I have a lot to blog about :)

Over the past 2 weeks a lot has gone on. Last weekend Mitch has the weekend off so we spend all weekend out and about. We shopped a lot, and we have decided to get new living room furniture! We both want it, but it was actually Mitch that talked me into it. So we are getting rid of all our stuff if you know anyone who needs anything. We are breaking down and getting our dream couch. It is a HUGE sectional and I absolutely cannot wait!! We searched around all last weekend and we finally decided on one and it is perfect! We ordered it yesterday and are getting it delivered today! We are also getting new coffee and sofa tables. They are so pretty. They are a rustic wood look so it contributes to my idea of make our living room look more lodgy.

We also had our big Super Bowl party and it was a blast! I keep saying this, but we are sooooo blessed with our life group. I have become so close with the girls especially and it it also so nice to have couples to do stuff with! I think at our age and time in our life having couples that are going through the same thing is so important to have. We need that good fellowship and everyone is just so fun!

This past week, Mitch left for Colorado on Wednesday for a guys ski trip. He had a blast! Although I love the mountains and Colorado... I was okay not going on this trip ha. I enjoy skiing, but it is just not my favorite thing. I got my share over thanksgiving and that is good for me.
So instead, I flew to Dallas to stay with my sister-in-law. It was so fun and I wish we lived closer together. I flew out Friday after school and we went to dinner and just hung out that night.

Friday we got up and spend the whole day shopping!! My good friend Elizabeth was also able to join us for the weekend, so that was awesome! We literally shopped all day... I got some awesome deals... So many good deals I have to borrow a big suitcase from Michelle and check a bag on my flight back. Ha! Saturday night, we treated ourselves to a nice dinner at Texas de Brazil. Which if you haven't been there, it's a must! Sunday I got up early and went on a run with Elizabeth.

We always ran together in college and it is just so nice to be able to run with her again. I wish we could do it more often. Sunday we went to lunch at BJ's and them more shopping! I flew home that night and went right to bed.... I was so tired!

This week at school we have been getting ready for our valentines parties at school. I just love valentines and being able to have school parties again is so fun!

Last night we watched the Dog Show and it was so funny! I love watching it, but I think Bella enjoyed it more ha! This is what she did through the whole thing. She didn't ever look away.

Friday we are headed to KC for the long weekend! I am so happy to spend some time away and celebrate valentines since Mitch has to work tomorrow! We are going to be spending Friday in AR, saturday and sunday in KC and then Monday back in AR. I am really looking forward to a little get-a-way weekend!! Hope y'all are having a great week!
