From being all cooped up on Monday and Tuesday, I was ready to get out of the house by Wednesday. So I decided to go to the mall! We have a big outdoor mall, and the weather was beautiful, so I figured it would be nice to go walk around outside. I did come home with a couple of things :) I love Bath & Body Works around this time of year and I couldn't resist, I bought more candles. We are good on candles for the rest of the season ha...but you can never have enough of them, especially fall ones. I also found this cake pan...I thought it was really cool and it will be perfect for game days!! You can bake in it or it can be used for molds and dips! We are going to make brownies in it tonight and see how it works!
That night I went with Michelle to walk her dog. We have been going every afternoon to wear her dog out since she is inside all day while Michelle is at work. We usually go around 5 miles, so it is good exercise too! Here is a picture of Peanut with her stick she just had to carry on our walk!
Yesterday, we had a really good day! We got up and headed to Pinnacle. On our way we had to pick up Mitch's mom at the fitness center, she was giving a lesson. While we were there I was asked if I would be interested in working there and giving tennis lessons! I am very familiar with the facility, because Mitch and I have played a lot of tournaments there over the years. I am very excited and it will give me something to do. If I work there, Mitch and I will get all the benefits of the facility. All the workout stuff, classes, etc. It will be so nice! They are very flexible and when I do find a job, this will be nice to do on the side and not to mention and easy way to make some extra cash :) Next week I am going to go to all the classes and see what ones I would enjoy teaching!
We had a delicious lunch...I always love it when we go to Pinnacle to eat. After lunch, Mitch, Hutch, and I spent the afternoon playing golf. It was so pretty and the perfect day for it. It was a lot of fun and I am sure we will be doing that more often.
That evening, I went on the usual walk with Michelle, and Mitch joined us this time. Then we headed to the mall. It was just such a nice night and they have all of there lights up, so it reminds me of Christmas!!! Most of you know I love Christmas time! I have already been shopping twice for Christmas decorations and I think we have more stuff than we know what to do with. I know it is way early, but this cooler weather puts me in the Christmas mood!
When we got home we made a late dinner and watched the OSU game. It was a stressful game but we came out with a win! Go Pokes!
This morning we are watching some of the Ryder Cup, then we are going to go play golf again. Tonight we are going to the BHS football game and we also just found out that Bentonville got a new frozen yogurt place. We are very excited and are going to go check it out!
Tomorrow morning, we have the church golf tournament. We had a cold front come in so it is nice and cool, and at 8:00 tomorrow morning it is suppose to be in the low 40's. Its going to be a cold start, but hopefully it warms up! Mitch, his dad, brother, and I are playing on team! It should be fun!!
